Setting Up IPTV with MyIPTV Player on Your PC
Getting started with IPTV on your computer is easier than you think! In this guide, we’ll walk you through the simple steps to set up the MyIPTV Player. Just follow along and you’ll be ready to enjoy your favorite channels in no time!
Step 1: Download and Install MyIPTV Player
First things first! If you don’t have the MyIPTV Player yet, you can download it from the official Microsoft Store. Once you’ve clicked on the link, simply follow the prompts to install the app.
Once the installation is complete, open the app. You should see a welcoming screen similar to the one below:
Step 2: Access Settings
To begin setting up your IPTV, find and click on the “Settings” option located at the top of the screen.
Step 3: Add Your Playlist and EPG Source
Next, choose “Add New Playlist and EPG Source.” This will allow you to enter the details for the channels you want to watch.
Step 4: Enter Your Playlist Details
Here, you’ll need to add a name for your playlist (indicated with a blue arrow) and paste the m3u playlist URL provided by your TV service provider (orange arrow).
If you happened to download the playlist directly to your PC, you have the option to select that file (green arrow). Otherwise, feel free to skip this step.
Step 5: Configure Your EPG Source
As you scroll down, you’ll come across the program guide section. Here, create a unique name for your source and paste your EPG URL from your provider.
Step 6: Finalize Your Settings
MyIPTV To go back, click the arrow located at the top left corner of the screen. Then, from the drop-down menus (blue arrows), select the channel playlist and EPG source you just created.
Don’t forget to refresh your channel playlist and EPG source by clicking on the refresh buttons (orange arrows).
Step 7: Select Your Channels
At the top left of the screen, you’ll find the option to select channels. Click on the drop-down menu beneath “Channels” to choose your desired category.
Once you’ve made your selection, your channels will load and should display just like this:
To view the EPG, simply select the program guide, and you’re all set!
